The Old Royal Bank Building

Originally built in 1920 to house the Royal Bank of Canada, this building has had numerous occupants over the years. The bank occupied this structure for only a very short time and when the bank closed it was re-opened as a barber shop and pool room.

The building has gained a second life here at the museum as it is currently under restoration and will soon display much of the original bank front on the main floor.
