The Old
Royal Bank Building |
|
|
|
Originally
built in 1920 to house the Royal Bank of Canada, this building has had
numerous occupants over the years. The bank occupied this structure for only
a very short time and when the bank closed it was re-opened as a barber shop
and pool room. The
building has gained a second life here at the museum as it is currently under
restoration and will soon display much of the original bank front on the main
floor. |
